Facilities

The highest possible emphasis is placed on all facets of our centre, including maintaining a safe and aesthetically appealing environment, running an outstanding educational program, providing an extensive range of resources and training and supporting our wonderful team of child care professionals.

Recently Highland Grove has undergone a comprehensive renovation of our playground. Our large grassy outdoor play area and tall shady trees have always been a feature of HGP, now the area also includes a wonderful bike track, complete with petrol pump, signs and helmets, a sensory garden and new “flexi decks” with slide, telescope and steering wheel, to enhance imaginary play. New features also include a large “daisy” mirror in the garden, “talking tubes” across the yard, a quiet teak garden bench and appealing hardwood decking.

At Highland Grove we are continually building upon our outstanding collection of resources, for both our indoor and outdoor areas. The centre uses contract cleaners each evening for maximum hygienic practices. The children's art work and projects provide creative displays and documentation throughout the centre.

Playrooms have a large locker for each child, as well as a pocket for written communication with each family.
The children bring their own Morning Tea and Lunch to preschool. Highland Grove provides a delicious selection of seasonal fruit for afternoon tea. For more information download our Information Booklet (PDF 4.1MB Warning large file).
