About Our Rooms

At Highland Grove children are grouped according to when they are expected to start school.

Therefore the Moonbeam Room has children attending school the following year (although of course if families are unsure about their child’s readiness for school they can return to this room the following year.)

The Starlight Room is the playroom for the younger group of children. These children will be returning to HGP for at least one other year.

Through the approximate 12 month age range in each room, the children benefit by age specific activities and expectations. The warm and friendly interactions between the children and their teachers is always appropriate to that child’s age and development.
