Starlight Room

There are 20 children attending each day in this North facing room with high ceilings and large glass waving windows. The Starlight Room also has a window facing onto the nappy changing area. (Just in case!)
This small number of children enjoying the preschool program, alongside 3 or 4 staff each day, ensures an ambience of warmth and intimacy.

The daily routine in the Starlight Room revolves around free play times both indoors and outside, combined with teacher directed group experiences.

The focus for this 3 to 4 year age group is on enjoying the learning experiences our preschool has to offer, nurturing and building on each child’s confidence.

The staff in the Starlight Room facilitate each child’s social development, building relationships with each child and encouraging children’s friendships. Social skills such as sharing, turn taking and an awareness of empathy for others are encouraged.
